I got a hynix 4 gb ram (since adata wasnt available) which is of the same frequency. The full set up was fine. How i can solved this problem please help me
I noticed that i have a problem with a ram slot. As for the new ram not working in the first slot, it is likely due to. I have lenovo z560 4gb ram two slot i means 2 gb + 2 gb.
The thing is that 3900x was working fine with all four ram slots populated before i removed it to install the 5900x slot online fortuneslot88. Doesnt open just doing this weird thing where the cpu runs can hear the fans working & light turns on but then suddenly turn off then it will open again it doesnt stop. Then i put just the new ram in both slots and for both. I have a dell dimension 4600 running win xp pro. After doing so i could not boot computer.

I got to my desktop without any problem. I recently upgraded to adata 8 gb single rank ddr4 2400 mhz 1.2v ram in one slot and 4gb stock ram in other stock. After installing windows 7, and getting my new ram, i installed just three sticks to test a boot.

So, the ram is never detected! We get multiple calls about memory not working when the computer just needs to be plugged in! Board wont boot with 2 sticks of ram.

I was trying so many times, and finally after checking all pins, i put it inside correctly. It has run okay (though slow. Not, there just was something inside in the second slot, and the ram was not go inside correctly.
After i installed this new stick, the system starts but there is no display. Checking system properties showed that i had my 6 gigs installed and everything seemed ok. This ram is notebook ram asper adata.
Ok power off totally, remove cmos battery, remove cpu hsf, cpu, ram, use crc qd contact cleaner, spray the lga and ram slots, clean pins on ram wipe down cpu, reinstall everything, make sure hsf isnt too tight where board warping occurs. I've tested two ram kits, and both work if only one stick is plugged, but does not work if two are plugged. (following the place instructions of the manual).
I tried to lose the screws a bit, still not working. I have dell inspiron 15 5567 (model p66f). The problem may not be due to your hardware.
